The Forest Homestay as the name suggests situated around 10 km away from Aldur - amidst forest and coffee plantation.
I might run short of words to praise the place and hospitality of the Nuthan. He is a young, polite and very friendly person who took care of my stay completely. He has been very cooerative through out my stay. In fact he assured complete safety and security.
If i talk about food, I must say, its awesome! The quantity and the quality is more than good. They have given me chicken and egg along with some mouth watering Malnad food. He himself used to serve and used to make sure that everything is in place and before I could request for something, I used to get it.
A little guy named Dixhith took me around to see places - trekking, sunset point, water fall and few more near by places.
We had bonfire with some nice music in the evening. Nuthan and Dixhith arranged everything.
Right now the number of rooms are less but Nuthan has kept it very clean and nice. One room has TV and extra bed. Both the rooms are big enough to accommodate more than 3 people. in fact the room with one extra bed can easily accommodate 5 people.
I wish when I visit next time they have some more rooms.
It was such amazing time spending amidst nature - the chirping birds, the colourful flowers and two cute dogs - Bolt and Chintu.
The Forest Homestay is a very special memory due to Nuthan's hospitality, being so cooperative and humble.
I didnt have any problem in booking and payment. I contacted Jeevan through Facebook and then phone call and everything went off very smooth - the pick and drop, the preference of food and stay everything was taken care of.
I would love to visit the place over and again - its a beautiful experience.
I must thank Nuthan and Jeevan for such lovely experience. It is a perfect place to unwind - to be yourself and just have an awesome time! The service was mind blowing and I must say - its the service which made the experience so wonderful.
